The setup: UC-Berkeley Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky was having a party for 3rd year law students at his private residents. One of the students decided to get a microphone and lecture the audience.

Dean Chemerinsky immediately asked her to leave...so of course she's claims that it's a First Amendment issue and she has a right to harangue the audience. His wife grabs the student - you're allowed to put hands on someone trespassing your property - so of course the student declares that some Victim Grievance Organization was going to hear about this because This Is Not Okay!

You hate to see it. I'm sure the Dean is a nice guy and all but his university has been Ground Zero for this kind of stupidity for 2 generations.
