I see this appearing in the New York Post:
Former Capitol Hill Police Chief Steven Sund has said that, in addition to the paid informants, the FBI had at least 18 undercover agents in the crowd plus an estimated 20 from the Department of Homeland Security.
I wonder if this is where my brother is getting this from. So how would the Police Chief know this?

Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund testified on security failures related to the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol before the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight. Mr. Sund, who was chief when the attack happened, called the incident an 'intelligence failure,' saying no intelligence agencies adequately warned him. He also said he requested support from the National Guard on January 3, but he was denied this by House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving and Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger, and that while the attack was happening, he made multiple requests to the Pentagon for the National Guard but was also denied due to 'optics.'
So there was an intelligence failure, but the FBI knew enough to have 18 agents there, and Homeland Security had 20. And he knows that how? This sounds like he's playing to the conspiracy theory folks who want to make Jan 6 into an FBI instigated event.
