I do 'denigrate' Trump because he is an amoral degenerate.

I also suspect he's a sociopath (not a psychopath...sociopaths are emotionally erratic and impulsive; psychopaths aren't).

I don't care about his marital infidelities. That's between him and the women with the questionable judgement to get involved with such a mess.

Everything else you said was true. My real concern is that when the convict is no more, that the attitudes he champions will persevere and we'll elect a string of populists that will undermine the democracy, crash the economy (more tax cuts? really??), and fail to hold in check the authoritarians of the world. If we fall, there may be no getting back up.

In which case, historians will work for the Ministry of Truth, and make up the history as they are told.
