Has anybody ever watched a "Sovereign Citizen" vid on YoutTube ??
These people claim that American Law does not have to be followed, because they are
" A Citizen of the World", not of any country. They get pulled over, and will refuse to
provide Id for the LEO. Most of the time, they will not even lower their window to speak
to the LEO. Almost always, they do not have license, registration, or insurance on the
vehicle. The LEO wastes about 20-30 minutes trying to reason with them, calls for backup,
and when backup arrives, they usually smash the window and drag the SV out and off to jail.
( these are dashcam and on-person camera footage video, not staged by utube "actors" "
The SV's are eerily like MAGA. It's almost like MAGA uses them as a blueprint.
They sputter bizzarro-world excuses that make no sense. They cannot be reasoned with.
You can cite facts to them all day long, and they'll just make up childish, idiotic
arguments as defense.
Had an interaction yesterday with a MAGA. They were telling me that Tesla was a great
investment. I told them that TSLA had dropped about 45% since middle of January.
They called me a liar, so I pulled up a chart and showed them. Their response was
that I was a manipulator, and I was just trying to degrade Musk. My response was
" this is not an opinion, this is the actual numbers, this is real world data".
Their response was that they don't trust the numbers.
We are getting closer and closer to living in ZombieLand.

Does Israel get a token of affection from America here and there?
And -- have we not busted spies from them - in America?
Don't other countries try to get America to pony up more, or sacrifice more - be it NATO, or Paris Accords - but then turn around and ask for stuff?
But if America does it- somehow it's bad.
I was having a weak MAGA week. I was seriously having 2nd thoughts and fears.
Then I'm reminded - why.

What's an SV?

I had an interaction yesterday that was a bit puzzling.
I happened to be wearing my 1984 T-Shirt (it's really awesome...the graphic is simple, but fantastic). Some guy noticed it. A very brief conversation ensued. He lamented that kids today probably hadn't even heard of the book, much less had to read it. Then, out of left field, he started talking about how "woke" seemed to be us spiraling into that state, and then asked if I ever read Atlas Shrugged.
I wasn't in a combative mood, so I just let the conversation end (plus a couple of minutes later, we left the waiting room). But I was amazed at how he thought "woke" was out of 1984, when -if anything- it is the distraction of "woke" by the right-wing that is a tactic "Big Brother" would have used**. The Felon is trying to take us down the path to 1984, not progressives and "woke-ism". While it wasn't Orwell, that quote I posted a few hours ago could have been from him. Certainly consistent with the Felon and Orwell.
And what did Atlas Shrugged have to do with 1984?? Nothing, as near as I can tell. But he seemed to think it profound, despite it being -in fact- somewhat infantile.
**Recall that they were constantly at war with someone, and that someone changed -even though they would then say "we've always been at war with X"- occasionally, and it was all to distract and obfuscate while Big Brother was up to something else. It was part of controlling the masses.

SoVereign Citizen.
Ah, thanks. I thought it could also be this slang definition from the urban dictionary:
A semi retarded jackass who spends most of his time talking about his former employer. He has been known to "narc" out his fellow co-workers to cover his own incompetency. He is an expert in bullshit and interrupting conversations.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Back to the 50’s when Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead where the protagonist of the self-assured independent individual that overcomes the incompetent underlings and interfering useless government to great success. But it didn’t quite work out for her that way. In 1976, she retired from her newsletter and, despite her lifelong objections to any government-run program, was enrolled in and claimed Social Security and Medicare with the aid of a social worker.
