Not sure how that relates, but the fact is Hamas is smart. Spending a year or more planning and then conducting the operation they did, all without detection by Israeli intelligence is not something accomplished by idiots. Taking the hostages was a novel and brilliant tactic as well.
It is possible be both smart and also a bloodthirsty barbarian. You seem to think that if Trump recognizes their obvious smartness, he is supporting the intifada. Sorry, not buying it.
