The Leadership Institute CEO Jeffrey Sonnenfeld:
"There are no Fortune 500 CEOs who are supporting Trump. That is a historic break. The Trump economic package frightens them. It's extremely inflationary. It'll lead to an increase in inflation and crush the GDP. They'll be Biden voters. They don't want the fabric of society pulled apart."

"Roughly two-thirds of CEOs are registered Republicans, but they're not MAGA." (They want tax cuts and deregulation, not a mentally deranged, christo-fascist dictator!)

Also in todays news: Fictional killer Hannibal Lecter is "a wonderful man," and sharks are "scary and bad."

As albaby pointed out, the Republican Party has evolved. It no longer is the party of Big Business. It's a populist party, a nationalistic party. They don't care much for rich fat-cats (even though convicted felon Trump is one, if only on paper).

But rich fat cats very much care about the Republican Party, at least many of them do, and that is where the party is getting much of its funding. There will be quid pro quo for these mega donors. They are not buying the Republican Party for no reason.

That's all well and good but if those Fortune 500 CEOs are not actively and vocally supporting president Biden -- or, knowing Trump will be a disaster don't say so publicly -- then they're effectively working to elect the convicted felon.

This is not an election where they can pat themselves on the back and feel good about silently voting their conscience if the economy goes to hell as a result of their silence.

very skeptical.
why waste their valuable time if they were capable of grasping trump's shtick ~8 years on?
take a look at the payrate of 'paragon' of capitalism jpm jamie, and consider what mtg +rump cost.
not good asset allocation of his most valuable resource.
