Yeah, the response seems to blame the problem on Trump and then let it fester. Not exactly a solution for the poor citizens suffering under the predation of Venezuelan gangs.

No. From what I've read it's two councilmen and a mayor saying this, the "Officials". The police do not know who these people are, and have said so.

The councilman said the same thing with an apartment shut down for health and safety violations six months ago. The governor has made available any assistance to take "anything back" if the city wants it. But the police intelligence doesn't agree with the councilman and Mayor.
