There's nothing deranged about not wanting a president who has been found liable by a jury of his peers for sexual assault; who has had a judge explain to him he had raped E Jean Carroll; who has been found to have committed business fraud; who plainly said he will be a dictator on Day One; who lied about speaking to the family of Ruby Garcia while making her murder a political prop; who called American war dead "losers" and "suckers"; who lied about winning the 2020 presidential election claiming it was rigged; who incited a mob to block the peaceful transfer of power to illegally keep him in office; who calls criminals "hostages"; who participated in a fake electoral scheme; who stood by doing nothing when the Capitol was under siege and his mob was hunting down his own vice president to hang him; who took some of the nation's most guarded intelligence documents, refused to return them under subpoena by lying that they had all been returned, and then conspired to have evidence destroyed; who intentionally mismanaged a pandemic, lied to Americans about its transmissibility, and let hundreds of thousands of Americans die because he was afraid that forcefully handling the pandemic would hurt his chances for reelection; who repeatedly called on his various Attorneys General to prosecute his political opponents although they had broken no laws; and who pardoned his partners in crime.

the former Twitter, to an article that described Donald Trump’s “degrading rhetoric”

The network, a staunch Trump ally, had published a Reuters wire story on its site about
Trump’s recent remarks in Grand Rapids, Michigan. But the article appeared as if it were
written by Newsmax, except for a tiny copyright line at the bottom that identified it as
a Reuters story.
The first sentence of the Reuters article ― “Donald Trump called immigrants illegally in
the United States ‘animals’ and ‘not human’ in a speech in Michigan on Tuesday, resorting
to the degrading rhetoric he has employed time and again on the campaign trail” ― appeared
nearly verbatim in Newsmax’s tweet (pictured below).
Right-wing readers reacted harshly to the tweet. “Everyone block Newsmax,” one person wrote.
“Newsmax is fake news trash,” another declared.

For example, Liz Cheney says: "Well, he cannot be the next president, because if he is" and then she's cut off and slapped alongside some edited clip of Michael Cohen and then into an edited clip of David Frum saying that "he can shoot the First Lady".
Okay, I did a search for the Jonathan Capehart interview with David Frum and what they were actually talking about was the concept of a president pardoning himself for any and all federal crimes and the absurdity of self-pardoning, which does not appear in the Constitution. As Frum pointed out, this is insane and there's no limit to what a criminal president might do:
If a president can pardon himself for federal crimes, as Trump would likely do, then he could write his pardon in advance and shoot visitors to the White House... or shoot the First Lady. You know what's even weirder? The vice president can pick up a pistol, walk into the Oval Office and shoot the president dead and say, 'I'm the president now, pardon!"
And that, because of the absurd notion of self-pardoning power, the only recourse is impeachment but not prosecution.
Would you argue that Trump would not pardon himself? He pardoned all of his criminal cohorts, after all.
