The black umbrellas are a common tactic they use - it keeps their faces off of cameras and blocks pepper spray. The other tactic you see here is a wall of thugs protecting the attacker and attempting to stop police from making an arrest. They do this all the time in the Pacific Northwest.

But these guys aren't a group or anything. Noooooo.

This event has a total of nine people: six protesting against drag shows and three counter-protesters (or pretend counter-protesters).

When I went looking for a legitimate news source, they didn't identify the three as Antifa.

Police say the masked, umbrella-wielding man who smashed windows at a Minneapolis auto parts store two days after George Floyd's death has ties to a white supremacist group and specifically sought to inflame racial tensions.

Umbrella Man literally started the rioting and looting in Minneapolis.

"This was the first fire that set off a string of fires and looting throughout the precinct and the rest of the city," Christensen wrote in the affidavit, according to reports. "Until the actions of the person your affiant has been calling 'Umbrella Man,' the protests had been relatively peaceful."

IOW, a white racist trying to get the media and public to blame Antifa.

I have no idea if these three idgits are connected to Antifa or are part of a white nationalist movement posing as Antifa and neither do you. All three were arrested and we'll see how this plays out.

But seriously, is this the best you could come up with to illustrate an Antifa "street army"?

Pretty weak sauce.

One thing is certain: drag show performers have no record of acting violently or committing mass shootings. And those Antifa thugs need better pepper spray; that second guy didn't even flinch.
