Americans strongly support Israel, but there are generational and racial divides...

Overall, 65% of Americans said the U.S. should support Israel publicly. That was true of big majorities of both parties ' 77% of Republicans and 69% of Democrats.

Notably, independents were less likely to believe this ' 54% thought the U.S. should publicly support Israel, but a third said the U.S. shouldn't say or do anything.

But there are huge age and racial gaps ' 78% of those 45 and older think the U.S. should take a publicly pro-Israel stance, but just 48% of those under 45 said so.

This is particularly true of the youngest Americans eligible to vote ' just 48% of Gen Z/millennials said the U.S. should publicly voice support for Israel.

...and educational. It's frightening how many people have no historical knowledge, much less knowledge of contemporary global politics.

The trend toward discouraging education is astounding. Burning books? Unfathomable.

As far as "younger" Americans and support for Israel in the future ask yourself the following:


*In the coming generation, is Christianity growing, breaking even, or shrinking?

I'd say shrinking - but at best break even.


*In the coming generation - is there a whitening of America, or a browning of America?

I'd say - the latter.

So a big source of Israeli support, those who have read *one* section of the Bible and think they are God's $20 an hour security guard for Israel -- well, their numbers are shrinking.

People who don't give a shit either way about Israel - their numbers are not shrinking.

People who have a bias against Israel, and jewish people ......are growing.
