Of course Turkey thinks it was “even handed”. CNN did *nothing* to correct the gross misrepresentations which flooded out of Trump’s mouth. And as I recall - and I do since I pay attention to such things - CNN was widely mocked and criticized for putting such trash on the air without correcting the falsehoods.

That’s undoubtedly why ABC’s moderators decided to, you know MODERATE the debate, rather than sit there as stooges with stopwatches, unable to discern right from wrong, truth from lies. (It’s not a good look when your “news” is host to a bunch of falsehoods, although I’m willing to admit that Fox has managed to make a business of it.)

Except they didn't. They allowed Harris to repeat debunked falsehoods and actually changed the rules 30 minutes before the debate. Then some things they were allegedly "fact checking" about Trump turned out to be...misleading and false. Just a general failure all the way around.

That Trump never admitted losing the 2020 election? Nope, Trump had recently conceded on three separate occasions that he had lost the election to President Biden — despite years of not publicly admitting defeat.

That crime in the US had skyrocketed during the Biden administration because migrants are being allowed into the country? Nope, crime rates across the board are down significantly and it's been confirmed by study after study that migrants commit fewer crimes than natural born citizens.
