Back when the upper income White Liberals were whining about SALT the first time....even the non partisan Brookings Institution had some things to say.....

*Lifting the SALT CAP would massively favor the rich.

*MOST of the benefit goes to the "top 1%" - remember them? Liberals love citing them as long as they aren't exposed as being in bed with them sometimes.

*Even WITH the SALT CAP ....the deduction remains pro-rich, with around 75% of the benefit going to families in the top 20% of income distribution.

Hmmmm back in the Bush tax cut days they said "waaaa the rich get the biggest break" and they didn't want to hear that that is math - because the rich paid more in the first place.'

Good.

Now, tell them to stop pursuing tax breaks that benefit mostly the white and the rich.
