look at McCain. You people loved him when he bucked Bush. When he came a candidate the Left said nasty things about him, until the end when he rightfully spoke against racial attacks and rumors on Obama. The Left loves using people like McCain or Kemp - until they are actually on the ballot. Then - yeah, you'll fixate on him no different than your not being able to discuss politics - at all - without "Trump!".'
There's a huge difference between 'loving him" and loving a thing he said or did.
McCain's daughter, for instance, is to be commended for her clear eyed response to Jan6 and her principles with respect to FatDon, but she's still a staunch conservative on issues that would preclude my voting for her.
