Seems like they may have peaked for the time being. Although I don't have any, at times I check annuity payouts and what was paying out $577 a month is down to $533. Also treasuries seem to be dropping as well.
I suppose if I want to lock up something for 5 yrs I should do it sooner than later.

How are the payouts calculated? If they're calculated based on current rates, maybe interest rates have peaked, even if only briefly in a still rising trend. If they're calculated on expectations of future rates, maybe interest rates haven't peaked, and the expectations are optimistic.
