This reply at the 1999 AGM to a question from a young Mohnish Pabrai at the very peak of the Dot-Com Bubble.
The NASDAQ peaked at 5,132 (4/23/2015) and it took 15 loooong years , to recover

Mohnish Pabrai had just started his hedge fund , Pabrai Funds, and a big fan of Warren Buffett & especially Charlie Munger.
The Pabrai Funds had significant holdings in Berkshire in the early days......and probably would have better long term performance if that had continued.

Very interesting. It is always fun to go back in time. Just like the internet & tech bubble, the AI interest will be profound but equally hard to choose the ultimate big winners imo. I am only playing AI thru the big tech (MAGA) companies. Funny how AI is the new buzzword along with ESG nowadays in the Reports and earnings calls.

The more gray I get, the more I prefer the old boring, stable businesses & predictable earning like we own via Berkshire & I realize my real circle of competence is smaller than what I envisioned in the past.
