'under RICO for their work at Atlanta's Cop City project.
Finally.

After the woke Soros prosecutor wouldn't do anything, Georgia's AG stepped in:

A total of 61 protesters have been charged with violating the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations act. Some face additional charges of domestic terrorism, arson and money laundering. Most are not from Georgia.

And what did they do?
A total of 225 'overt acts' are cited in the indictment ' starting with two defendants throwing objects and a Molotov cocktail at the Georgia State Patrol headquarters on July 5, 2020 and ending with incidents that occurred two weeks ago.

Most of the acts mentioned in the indictment involved Marlon Kautz, Adele Maclean and Savannah Patterson transferring money from the Network for Strong Communities to allegedly reimburse and fund those occupying the forest. The three are also accused of being involved, along with unindicted co-conspirators, with threatening and promoting violence and property damage towards companies involved in the construction of the training center.

'While the Network for Strong Communities portrays itself as a legitimate charitable social justice organization, we contend that this group is operating several bank accounts, commingling funds from various causes and raising money to establish and maintain the autonomous zone within the forest,' Carr said.

The AJC goes to some lengths to say This Is No Big Deal by mentioning that most of the money were small chunks, including one transaction for $15.18. This is the kind of irrelevant fact that NPC's like to point out.

The problem is, moving money across state lines using fake charities so you can commit violence is a serious no-no. It's the kind of thing we're supposed to have an FBI for but they're too busy investigating parents who want to have a say in their children's' education. Real big national security threat there; I can see why they wouldn't want to go after the same people and the same groups that burned American cities in 2020.

A great start. Bogus charities and 'foundations' are how the left's shock troops move money and resources around. Time to dry them up.

Charging a non participant there to observe with RICO charges simply because they're an attorney for the SPL who you don't like does raise an eyebrow - there's no reason for that.

Sloppy bookkeeping in a charity is fairly normal and doesn't mean the charity is fake.

I don't agree with eco-terrorism and it's fine to prosecute them but charging the attorney looks abusive.

I can see why the other attorney pulled out. This seems like the type of case where a lot gets overturned in appeals because the evidence is thin and tenuous and can be seen as political free speech. It will be interesting to watch.

They are the same. Your heroic 'anti-fascists' are violent interstate terrorists. It's what they do.

And they do use charity money to find their mayhem. Can't wait to see this play out at trial. I'll cover the SLPC goon later.
