rather than declare these unacceptable as a group, trump will grind down the opposition by offering just slightly worse (or just different) replacements. thus, the game has started with gaetz out, bondi in.
i would hate to overestimate any MAGA opposition not being able to see this ploy (including non-trumpian gop congressmen that take their power with some gravitas and a heap of ego).
of course, the real problem is not just selection of people whose only mandate is to take orders and serve as a deniability shield for trump, but these are the types that believe their own capabilities have some merit and may act upon their own initiative for whatever motives.

i guess one could contrast this with his pick for the economy (maybe for stability, maybe by accident), but no one should ever forget that from 2016, trump's main power is to normalize the previously unthinkable.
