President Trump said in a social media post Friday afternoon that he directed members of his administration to fire Erika McEntarfer, commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, after the BLS on Friday published a July jobs report that contained what it called "larger than normal" revisions to data from May and June.

The July jobs report published Friday morning showed the US economy added 73,000 jobs last month, fewer than expected, while the unemployment rate rose to 4.2%.

When ya don’t like the data, just fire the guy or gal who collects and tallies the data.

Anyone who continues to doubt that Trump is engaged in an all out war on facts, on just about every front, should not be believed on just about every issue.

No wonder George Santos picked the Republican Party.

Everyone makes mistakes. A large proportion of these correct their mistakes when reality proves them wrong.

But these guys attempt to smash and cover up reality, while firing, sueing, and filing charges against anyone who challenges their fantasy world with facts.

Reality does not deal kindly with such people. They don’t tend to die peacefully in bed after a long and happy life.

Unfortunately, they can do immense damage before they crash and burn.
