I see all the cries of 'wolf' on this board and ignore 99.999% of them because they're pretty much all the fever dreams of people who can't get over the 2016 election.

That said, when the administration does something bad, it should be called out:

https://nypost.com/2026/06/29/opinion/hunter-biden...

The New York Times reports that Eric and Donald Trump Jr., sons of President Trump, and Kyle and Brandon Lutnick, sons of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, are tied to a billion-dollar tungsten mining deal that the US government is financing in Kazakhstan.

The prez himself actually called in to a meeting between Secretary Lutnick and Kazakhstan’s president as the deal was being finalized.

Yeah, that's over the line if accurate. It was wrong when the Bidens used the White House as an ATM and it's still wrong to influence peddle like this.

I’m glad the truth of Trump’s corruption is beginning to seep through. Really, I am.

I saw that story last night and interpret it as just one more confirmation of an old old stoy about Trump’s character that goes back decades.

Dope1: It was wrong when the Bidens used the White House as an ATM and it's still wrong to influence peddle like this.

Here's the difference: no one has produced compelling evidence that Joe Biden himself accepted bribes or directly enriched himself while president but a congressional report from the House Oversight Committee outlined how Pedo Don pocketed at least $7.8 million from at least 20 foreign governments while in office.

Pedo Don also personally promoted Ivanka's clothing line, his properties, his wine, a "God Bless the USA" Bible, sneakers, fragrance, luxury watches, crypto and meme coins, a Pedo Don smartphone, hats, shirts, books, and guitars.

Nice try, though.

I call balls and strikes. This instance is clearly a strike for the administration.

If you want more strike calls then throw pitches in the zone. Don't airmail them over the catcher's head, which is what 99.99% of the stuff posted here is.

The problem….. is that you call balls when the pitches are clearly inside the strike zone.

See? There *are* things we can agree on. If we focused on what we agree on, instead of what we disagree on, we might be able to get something productive done.

Have you come up with a practicable way to relive "JCs" of the slow, tired, breakdown-prone, old phartz in their workforce, other than paying them, via SS and Medicare, to retire?

I have never figured out, nor seen any real news stories about how Biden “used the White House as an ATM.”

Could you elaborate? Did Jill write a cookbook or something?

Could you elaborate?

Joe used his autopen to produce 100,000 “genuine, certified autographs” in a limited production run (each autograph has a unique number 1-100,000) that he sold for a hundred dollars apiece.

Wzambon could you document where there is evidence that Biden sold any autographs for a personal profit. The only mention of selling autographs I can find are from Trump and nothing from Trump can be assumed accurate without another source.

https://spectator.com/article/inside-trumps-brazen...

And even more:
The most eye-popping figure comes from cryptocurrency. Trump’s ventures in the digital asset world produced more than $1 billion in income over the past year, helping fuel a breathtaking expansion of his overall fortunes. Taken together with his broader portfolio of businesses and investments, the President reported at least $2.2 billion in income, compared with a minimum of roughly $622 million generated by his enterprises during all of 2024, before returning to office. Estimates of his net worth likewise surged, rising to roughly $4.7 billion from about $2.3 billion a year earlier.

Ther merchandise I don't care about. To me that's not any different than NIL payments to college athletes for selling t-shirts with their names on them. The crypto stuff - a market prone to manipulation and worse - is sketchy stuff.

My post was intended as satire. Apparently I did too good a job paralleling reality.

My apologies.

Not likely.

But we should rec Dope when he recognizes some of the corruption, fraud, and immorality, even of he says outlandish things while he's recognizing it.

He’s reading through the lens of right wing media that is increasingly unable to avoid seeing the elephant in the room.

For now, it’s on the same level as “Mistakes were made”.

And….. “Who could have possibly known there would be an elephant in the room?

Quickly followed by “…… but I hear the Democrats have a Tyrannosaurus in theirs.”

Yes, that's why Albaby talks to him. He has to surround it with outlandish things to make it palatable. It's great to see it. We should rec it. Before they avoided recognizing it, so there's a recognizable shift. Trump is having trouble with his Save America Act. That's great to see. I tt my former work mates and they're all "at will" employees now. Lost 30% of the staff so they're not trying to fire people. This USSC is handing Trump more and more power, terrible.
