Not investment related, but...
The Climate Change board on the old Fool had some good discussions, though it eventually came to be dominated by skeptics and was not very balanced.
I'd like to see a board here related primarily to discussions of environmental issues.
Any chance you could establish a board on Shrewdm for such discussions? Maybe Climate Change and Environmental Issues, or something like that. A little broader than strictly Climate Change.

I'd like to see a board here related primarily to discussions of environmental issues.
I have thought it through for many hours, tested many alternative names, and finally added a board titled "Earth Limits". This title is extremely interesting. It is broader than it first seems, yet fairly well-defined also (like drawing large circle having many subjects, but the circle still having a rather well defined border).
Just to take some examples, it can cover climate change, energy limits, commodity limits, ecological impacts, food shortage, forced migrations and even subjects such as nuclear exchange risk (useful heuristic: keep your own weapons near your own border; if your weapons are far away then you are almost invariably the aggressor, so move the weapons back towards your border).
If not much comes out of it after many months then I can delete the board, but it is worth trying. It could also be later sub-divided into more narrowly defined boards (I can categorise each subject and migrate them).
