Twitter is not a valid source. Try again.
No, the troops aren't helping people cross illegally. In fact, Dems oppose the troops even being there, calling it "unacceptable". Just because they aren't shooting everyone doesn't mean they are helping them cross.

Complaining about sources is a Poisoning the Well logical fallacy.
It's a way to avoid debate. Kindly stop.

Semantics. Labor is fungible. The troops are handing back office paperwork freeing up Border Control to "help' (meaning register and hand out welcome wagon goodie bags) border runners who cross.

It's not a fallacy. Twitter is an unregulated (mostly) platform where anyone can post anything. It is not a news source. It wasn't set up for that.
I'm happy to debate, but first we have to have actual data. Not some rantings on Twitter (or FB, or MySpace, or whatever). Links to data are preferred, but reports from reputable sources will do.
Also, we can't really have a debate if we can't even agree on basic facts, so sourcing is an important first step to meaningful debate. That's why I read this board. If people just want to throw barbs at each other, I'm not interested.
