The week's question
In March 2025, in the thread "Re: OT, out", Umm asked the members: "Do you think it is because America is made up of magical soil that makes businesses based in America magically profitable?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Note that the bridge is funded by the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act. I think it should be called the Joseph R. Biden Bridge.

Trump the God did not obstruct the funding, so, in his mind, he gets credit.

And more for the greater glory of Trump the Living God.

Disbelief as Trump White House unveils appalling new display in Washington

Located in one of the public corridors of the White House, the new exhibit features a series of large panels and interactive digital screens depicting a selective narrative of American history focused heavily on President Donald Trump’s political achievements. The display emphasizes themes of patriotism through a controversial lens, including glorified portrayals of the Trump administration’s policies, military actions, and economic milestones. However, it also includes provocative imagery and statements that many are arguing distort historical facts and exclude critical perspectives.
