Sadly that message will never be heard by them. Fox News, Newsmax, Bill O’Reilly, et al can be counted on to keep talking about Hunter’s laptop or Benghazi or whatever is the distraction-du-jour rather than these little shards of corruption or disaffection - because to do so would cause them to 1) lose listeners and 2) lose credibility among their target audience, for whom no truth must be tolerated.

"American" oil does not belong to America. It is the property of oil corporations. They will sell it wherever they can realize the best profit for their shareholders. Unless we pull an Iranian/Venezuelan nationalization coup, the oil pumped and refined in the USA will go wherever the petro dollars pull it, gas prices at the pump be damned.
