A New York City man stood on a street Wednesday with a needle dangling from his arm as the drug crisis plagues citizens.

The man stood without moving on West 37th Street late Wednesday morning with the needle in his arm as people apparently walked by him, the New York Post reported Saturday.

One person who commented on the Post's story said, 'Bidens America' while another replied, 'Thanks, DEMOCRATS I mean Marxists.'

Here's a graph of drug overdose deaths for the past twenty years (click the second chart on the page to enlarge the chart). In fact, heroin overdose deaths are declining. Benzodiazepine and prescription overdose deaths are flat. And cocaine and methamphetamine over dose deaths are rising.

But the most dramatic rise in overdose deaths is in synthetic opioids.

Tell me, when was the most significant spike in synthetic opioid deaths?

That was the point, which you deliberately chose not to see: the opioid epidemic absolutely exploded during the Trump presidency.

Yet republicans never cared about those deaths then and never criticized former president Trump for the spike in opioid overdose deaths under his watch. Those deaths only became an issue when republicans could place them at the feet of president Biden.
