I have an academic interest in the origins of covid, and since there has been no credible advancement in a while, I just see Trump making a ploy to your conspiracy bone. It's a good distraction from the fact he screwed up the initial response badly, and he is screwing up the government and the economy and the problems created will take decades to repair, and some can't be repaired. First - you'd have to set criteria as to what is safe and effective. Trials are done to see if any major problems show up. Then the initial uses by the general public are big trials, where they are looking for major problems. You should know this. Why does it appear that you don't know this?
I have an interest that the media not circulate misinformation during a pandemic and that is one of the few times where I consider suppression of misinfo as a service to the general public. Decry all you want - you kill people. Medical misinfo kills, hurts, and maims every year. HCL, you defend misinfo and people die because of it.
