The point is - the Poles are committed to their own defense. It's an open question if the others are.
Why is that the point? The inchoate intangible "commitment" of the Poles to their own defense, as opposed to the actual contribution of resources to the military readiness of NATO?
If you're arguing that the Poles have more ineffable "spirit" or some other immeasurable quality than the rest of NATO, then there's no way to prove or disprove that. But if you're making the argument that the Poles are more relevant or important to NATO force readiness than the contributions of the other larger and richer members of NATO, that's simply not true. Those other countries have more active servicemen, more planes, more naval vessels, and larger military budgets for all the other stuff than Poland does.
You keep acting as if those other nations are unimportant, irrelevant to NATO. I think it's because you disapprove of their choices. But whether you disapprove of them or not, they still maintain massive military forces that make up a far larger proportion of NATO resources than what Poland contributes.
