A summary:
https://oversight.house.gov/release/comer-statemen...
1. Devon Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma's board was 'the brand' and confirmed that then-Vice President Joe Biden was 'the brand.'
Archer admitted that 'Burisma would have gone out of business if 'the brand' had not been attached to it.'
2. He believed that Hunter Biden being on the board and the Biden brand contributed to Burisma's longevity. People would have been intimidated to mess with Burisma legally because of the Biden brand.
3. In December 2015, Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and Vadym Pozharski, an executive of Burisma, placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from D.C. regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. Shokin was investigating Burisma for corruption. Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, 'called D.C.' to discuss the matter. Biden, Zlochevsky, and Pozharski stepped away to make the call. This raises concerns that Hunter Biden was in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
4. Devon Archer testified that Hunter Biden put then-Vice President Joe Biden on the speakerphone during business meetings over 20 times. Archer testified that Joe Biden was put on the phone to sell 'the brand.' These phone calls include a dinner in Paris with a French energy company and in China with Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR.
5. Archer acknowledged that then-Vice President Biden had coffee with Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR, in Beijing. Then-Vice President Biden even wrote a letter of recommendation for college for Li's daughter.
6. Archer confirmed Joe Biden was referred to as 'my guy' by Hunter Biden.
7. In spring of 2014, then-Vice President Biden attended a business dinner with his son, Hunter, and his associates at Café Milano in Washington, D.C. Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who is the widow of the former mayor of Moscow, attended the dinner. Notably, the Biden Administration's public sanctions list for Russian oligarchs does not contain Baturina.So.
We know that Biden bragged about getting Shokin fired in the famous exchange about "the $1 billion". The real motivation for that was confirmed by Archer; Joe Biden was evidently acting as a foreign agent
while serving as Vice President.
We know Joe was lying when he said he never discussed business with his son. His presence on the calls shows that he was definitely involved even if they were just talking about their favorite postage stamps.
Joe Biden was also evidently not above doing minor favors like the college recommendation letter. Does anyone really think that VP's have all the time in the world to write letters of rec for some rando's daughter?

CNN provided Devon Archer quotes. What Dope1 provided was the summary of the behind doors committee meeting by republicans which contained zero quotes to support their claims.
Wouldn't you think if they had quotable evidence they would have, well, quoted that evidence?

Uh, huh. Ignore reality all you like; doesn't matter to me in the slightest. There are bank records, over a hundred suspicious transactions flagged, tens of millions of dollars and over a dozen shell companies. The kind one designs to shelter and/or launder money.
If the last name of the person doing this were named Bush or Trump you'd be ready to convene a firing squad. So in the meantime, I'm going to enjoy the slow, Chinese Water-Torture like

Dope1: There are bank records, over a hundred suspicious transactions flagged...
Perhaps you don't fully understand that the filing of suspicious activity reports against elected officials is common. In fact, during the Trump administration, Deutsche Bank's anti-money laundering division recommended filing suspicious activity reports on transactions conducted by Trump companies, including the Trump Foundation, and firms owned by his son-law Jared Kushner. Any transaction over $5,000 can trigger a suspicious activity report.
I'd wager that most of us here have had financial transactions of over $5,000.
In short, they're meaningless.
Or, at least they never bothered republicans when they were filed for Trump or Kushner family financial activities left and right.
Dope1: ...and over a dozen shell companies...
A dozen? Wow!! The Trump Organization has over 500. You better get him an adjoining cell.

Today Hunter Biden's best friend and business associate, Devon Archer, testified that Joe Biden met with Russia's Yelena Baturina who later invested into $40 million into Hunter Biden's real estate ventures. And she also paid Hunter Biden $3.5 million in consulting fees.

Anyhow the left will tell us they were just discussing the weather.
'To quote: ' So it's blatantly obvious Joe and Hunter are so guilty of so many crimes I can't keep count. Now, just what do we think will happen to them? My vote - nothing.''
But of course if this was Trump....the double standard would apply.

The left will dismiss this, the article is from a right leaning blog.Umm, $40 million? The senate investigation said $3.4 million. The New York Post said $100 million.
In any event, the partners agreed to dissolve Rosemont Seneca Thornton before the Baturina wire transfer took place. Funny, though, Devon Archer -- you know, the crook going to prison for fraud -- decided to keep the business alive for his own real estate business, Rosemont Realty, which raised money from Eastern European and Central Asian investors.
Archer just didn't bother to tell Hunter Biden.
The Washington Post debunked this back in 2020 when Trump first tried to make it an issue, mentioning it 42 times in the final weeks of the campaign.
Trump even called on Putin to reveal before election day exactly what he knew about it.

Umm, you don't seem to have thought this through.
Or do you not realize that there were republicans in that meeting who would immediately refute any false claims in these multiple news articles?
If these quotes were false, why wouldn't the republicans say so?
More to the point, why not just release the transcript and we'll all see exactly what was said by Archer? What are republicans hiding?

I think part of the process is the transcript fist has to go to DOJ for redaction of anything that might reveal a source or embarrass a democrat.
