He raw-dogged a porn star and illegally paid her hush money.

Correction. Yes, he banged a porn star (or, if her story is accurate, she banged him on the rear with a rolled up copy of a magazine with his picture on the cover. Which she just happened to have laying around? Or more likely, he brought with him…

But it’s not illegal to pay hush money.

It’s illegal to say it was a business expense and try to write it off on your taxes. It’s illegal to lie about it to a grand jury (looking at you, Michael Cohen). It’s illegal to take a misdemeanor crime (camouflaging the payments) in furtherance of another crime (campaign finance violation) which bumps it up to a felony.

Just so we have all the actual facts, all of which have been corroborated in previous hearings, trials, and depositions.
