Certainly we cannot apply that rule to the Executive branch.

Trump can claim immunity as he regulates the DJT communications empire. Heck, he could make the ban all competition to DJT communications as subversive and become the official voice of America.

And what about Elon Muskovich? Maybe the ban can make exceptions for owners who regulate companies they founded or acquired? Or simply declare that the top 10% of billionaires are exempt from the ban. They can have Fed positions and work at the company they own/regulate.

Get rid of merit based hiring and promotion and bring back the good old spoils system. Lots of opportunities for corruption; perfect fit for Trump.

Why? They are functioning quite well now. Trump will only screw this up. But he would rather not have intel looking over his shoulder; he needs freedom to act like a dictator.

This made me LOL. Really? Trump does not want his grifting and corruption exposed. However, if he can use the DOJ to pursue those he has called his 'enemies' while having all his corruption shielded from view, then fine.

Throttle legitimate news sources. Make the 1st Amendment apply only to RW media. Hell, he is already suing ABC. What other POTUS would do that? None.

Put them where they can be more easily controlled by entities they are supposed to oversee.
