A Watergate spokesperson confirmed the maggot incident happened:

The hotel is aware of “the unfortunate incident that occurred at the property yesterday … We took the necessary steps to ensure the property has been sanitized and is now operating as normal.”

Protestors got into the Watergate, pulled the fire alarm late at night, and released tons of bugs in a conference room Bib was using.
