As stated before I don't actively participate in the "market" stuff but for a few holdings and mostly trades during turmoil. Advisers would say I should be 4x more vested than I am.

BUT with the China deadline getting close ---I would've thought the whole 'market' would be blown up.

Does this mean people think they'll be some delay, etc ? Does it mean the Ruling Class told Trump to knock the shit off with China, that this is as far as he goes?

No. A non-US business selling to someone other than the US is still a profitable business, so they will let Spankee do as he desires--for now.

The fun will begin with pharma. Suddenly, it is NOT "just the liberal businesses" getting hit with higher costs. It will be in *everyone's* business. THEN the public goes (more) nuts than it currently is. The pain is coming--and it is coming for them as well. Choices have consequences. Spankee supporters shall pay the penalty, moreso than non-supporters.
