negative trump polls are much less meaningful than specific gop polls.

a. consider that w/scotus and congress grovelers at his call, trump really does not care that much about MAGA nor america in general.

b. in complete opposition to some opinions here, feelings matter much more to gop voters than facts.
when called out on the affordability issue that bludgeoned biden, there are crickets.
(no, dont confuse them with terms like inflation, which they demonstrate no understanding)
if someone mentions trump's promises to lower absolute prices, dems are called out for being unable to recognize hyperbole.
think the epstein matter cant go away? yeah, they used to care about the musk partnership also.

bottomline : we are no where near a point where gop voters have divested their identity from MAGA.
and certainly not in any manner to act against trump.
breaks in gop local races, such as iowa, will need to be near nationwide.
