You know that IRS recently shutdown the IRS Investigation of Hunter Biden, totally disbanded the team. CBS interviewed the Supervisory Special Agent managing that investigation. Just aired tonight.

Too bad it is CBS and not Fox news. If it was Fox then the report could easily be dismissed as fake.

It is a 2:53 video and seeing it with your own eyes cannot be trusted according to an earlier discussion we had on this board, so there's that.

First, this seems rather pertinent, no?

The accusations come more than three years into an investigation into Hunter Biden that's being conducted in Delaware by a U.S. Attorney appointed by then-President Trump and held over by President Biden to avoid any appearance of political bias.

So the investigation was run by a Trump-appointee. And a Trump appointee slow-walked the investigation?

Okay, sure.

And the way this is phrased, I'd say it looks like Shapley is getting financial assistance:

Shapley told CBS News he has taken no money from anyone in deciding to step forward. His legal effort is being assisted by a nonprofit whistleblower advocacy group with staff who have previously worked with Republicans in congress, and he is a registered Republican.

He testifies under oath on Friday so maybe we'll know then (his testimony will not be open to the public but republicans are certain to blab about this).

You almost sound like your wife cheated on you. So Fox is completely unreliable. So what? Move on to a different outlet. It's not like you have to get a divorce to leave Fox.

If NPR started feeding my BS, I'd drop them like a hot potato while muttering about them selling out like Fox does.

The important thing is that you get accurate information. Fox has demonstrated you usually can't get it from them (the Dominion court filings were damning). Find someone who doesn't feed you BS. I don't really get the attachment to Fox (or OAN, or whomever) if they have been shown to be unreliable. Right-leaning folks seem to go back, like abused spouses. I dunno...maybe left-leaning people do that with left-wing news outlets? Like MSNBC? I note they rate relatively low on the reliability scale (using the links provided a week or so ago). But their audience is pretty small (maybe because they are unreliable?).
