but hunting is on the decline.

The ecology of the planet is so out of whack due to the human population and the resulting development and pollution that a little hunting is of no impact one way or the other.

Places I chased deer as a kid are now vast housing tracts.

The fields of millet that held clouds of doves for Sept 1 BBQ hunts are now watersucking vineyards wasting the environment and contributing to a global wine glut.

It was fun while it lasted.
