Good morning all. Has anyone here ever, forgotten, to file their taxes for two consecutive years? Has anyone, forgotten, to report millions in taxable income? How many Americans have, forgotten, to file and, forgotten, to report millions in income and not faced a serious multiyear audit? I can no idea filing was optional and getting caught was a, do over, no harm no foul? What suckers most of us have been.

Yes, I didn't file for 2 years, but I KNEW and I think Hunter Biden did to. If you file and pay the taxes, in the absence of serious indications of fraud, the Feds charge failure to pay and move on. The Feds want the money - tax, penalties, and interest. This isn't "no harm, no foul" as failure to pay can be hefty. So this is normal practice, but for you to find out, first - make 3 million dollars over a couple of years, then - don't file or pay, you will find out.
