It often seems the practitioners and fans of fetishism are demanding that you not only tolerate the activity but express approval of exposing children to the activity to prove you are not some sort of hater.

No. But I think if someone is showing how much fun her kids had at a drag event and you express your unwanted disapproval, you should expect to be told to F--k Off (and more). Now that isn't requiring you to express approval is it? So why the mischaracterization?
