If the valuation Barrons outlines is close, might not be a terrible place to sit and wait.

I did take a position in Cable One after noticing Lou Simpson liked it. Did pretty well too. My exit timing was dumb luck but it worked out.

Graham Holdings is old school by today's Mag7 perspective, but I tend to be drawn to old school value.

Any opinions?

I've held it for years. It has done very well. Very disciplined management and a good collection of well-run, profitable businesses. Like BRK, not much synergy among the businesses themselves; but management uses the profits wisely to build value for the shareholders over time. Like BRK, it's controlled by owners who think long-term because it is their own family wealth. Another one I'm happy to hold for a long time.
