if this means the appeal (and bond) for the $83M is lost, then why is the fraud appeal expected to take many months longer ?

for the state of NY, they will still have to somehow pursue the remaining ~$400m part of the fraud judgement, which itself will be a grind.

BTW, i find loss of the carroll bond and appeal extremely meaningful. in this singular instance, delays met their limits.

it is the first significant civil or criminal loss by trump SINCE he was elected president.
(3X the puny $25M trump university fraud fine in which he constantly harassed the hispanic-american judge. judges still lethargic in regards to protecting themselves, family, and trial-related targets.)

my curiosity hopes some intrepid financial journalist uncovers the true source for frontman chubb, as i am certain they had money and profit in hand on the day of the bond.

my impression of the story was incorrect.
United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has not made a final ruling on the ~$80M bond\fine.

trump was simply denied delay tactics via a new trial and lower amounts.
no wonder it seemed under the radar. another day, another useless trump filing processed.
