Why wasn't the sambusa on my school's lunch menu from when I was in first grade through college or when I was teaching for 37 years?

then in high school they had great fries and burgers. And once in awhile turkey and gravy.

Good ol days.

Culture was a bit different - the food tasted better but we had less meds ---and "fire" was the only drill we had.
