Promise kept: In exchange for their votes, Trump promised libertarians to pardon Ulbricht, who was sentenced to double life in prison plus 40 years without the possibility of parole. More on this sweetheart below.

Promises not kept: “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one.” Referring to grocery prices.

It is now plain to see, even if your brain is slightly functioning, where Trump’s priorities are; releasing dangerous criminals from prison who will endanger the lives of ordinary Americans.

Trump, and his dangerously incompetent minions, are trying to destroy this country.

We have met the enemy and they are Trumpers.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday pardoned Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, who was sentenced to life in prison for running an underground online marketplace where drug dealers and others conducted more than $200 million in illicit trade using bitcoin.

His arrest brought to an end what prosecutors described as a global, black market bazaar that for two years starting in 2011 was used by more than 100,000 people to buy and sell $214 million worth of illegal drugs and other illicit services.

Prosecutors said some people died due to drugs bought on Silk Road.

Prosecutors said Ulbricht ran Silk Road under the alias Dread Pirate Roberts, a reference to a character in the 1987 movie "The Princess Bride," and took extreme steps to protect the marketplace's operation. Those steps, they said, included soliciting the murders of several people who posed a threat, though they also said no evidence exists that any murders were actually carried out.

Wow. WTF? How much money changed hands on this deal? I'm sure the libertarians must have donated generously. Why else do something so corrupt?

I'm sure this will be covered thoroughly on FOX 'news', Newsmax and elsewhere on the right wing media. After all, crime is a central concern of those who consume that 'media'.

The law and order President! LMAO...but a sad and bitter laugh.
