I have offered before, that the GOP candidate for a Senate seat for Michigan, Mike Rogers, would be well advised to keep his mouth shut, as Israel First attacks El-Sayed.
The local Detroit Fox affiliate hosted a debate. Rogers did not show up for the debate, complaining the moderator Roop Raj, US born son of Indian immigrants, would be biased against him. So, El-Sayed stood alone, facing questions about Piker, Socialism, and Israel, while no-show Rogers avoided questions about his corruption and racism.
El-Sayed grilled on Piker, Israel and socialist ties after Mike Rogers skips Senate debate
Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed faced roughly an hour of pointed questions Tuesday over his ties to controversial streamer Hasan Piker, his views on Israel, campaign money and his socialist ties after his Republican rival Mike Rogers declined to participate in a scheduled debate in Detroit Tuesday night.
El-Sayed offered one of his most explicit condemnations yet of Piker's controversial rhetoric, declined to give a yes-or-no answer when pressed on U.S. recognition of Israel as a Jewish state and pushed back on questions about his relationship with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) during the wide-ranging conversation with the moderator.
FOX 2 said both campaigns were invited on Aug. 5, the day after Michigan's primary, and that El-Sayed quickly accepted, while Rogers did not formally decline until the morning of the Tuesday debate due to objections over Raj serving as the moderator, arguing he was biased.msn.com - El sayed grilled on piker israel and socialist ties after mike rogers skips senate debateI did not know about that debate, so did not watch it. Last night's local news on the ABC affiliate announced a debate between the two Senate candidates is scheduled on that station for October 21. Wonder if Rogers will pull the same stunt again?
I have yet to see a single campaign ad from the GOP candidate for Gov. Only third party ads attacking the Dem candidate.
Such is life in a country occupied by another country. The approved candidates don't need to do anything, while the opposing candidates are attacked.
