Candidate Trump has said he will impose 60% tariffs on all goods imported from China.
Not so fast, though, Trump seems to have changed his mind, clarifying those tariffs in a conversation with Fox's Maria Bartiromo this morning:
BARTIROMO: "Now The Washington Post is saying that you're talking about sixty percent tariffs on Chinese goods. Is that in the cards?"
TRUMP: "I would say it's going to be more than that because we're going to have to... look, I want China to do great. I do. And I like President Xi a lot. He was a very good friend of mine during my term."
Huh.
More than a 60% tariff.
Well, that's going to be one helluva' tax on middle America.
Everyone screaming about inflation today better tune up those vocal chords for what happens after a 60 percent tax on all goods imported from Chyna.

He would never do it, but being the narcissist that he is, the THOUGHT it and so SAID it, thinking it was brilliant. After all he is very stable genius.
And he knows it will sound good to his ignorant base...make him sound tough.
But the reality is, it would never fly.
