Today's "Meet the Press" interview is a wonderland of stupid.
Example 1
TRUMP: "We were losing hundreds of billions of dollars with China. Now we're essentially not doing business with China. Therefore, we're saving hundreds of billions of dollars. It's very simple."
Hey, I bet I could save bigly dollars by not paying any federal taxes.
Example 2
When asked "When does it become the Trump economy?" Mad King Donald said: "It partially is right now. I think the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy."
What now?
Example 3
When asked if he is considering tariff relief for small businesses, Mad King Donald said: "Why do you always mention, you know, a couple of little businesses. What about the car business?"
Small businesses generate 60-80% of net new jobs.
Example 4
When pressed on his admission that tariffs will increase prices and lower product availability, Mad King Donald said: "I don't think a beautiful baby girl that's 11 years old needs to have 30 dolls. I think they can have three dolls or four dolls ... they don't need to have 250 pencils. They can have five."
IOW, Americans are going to be poorer, have less selection, and better get used to it. And gee, I cannot remember the last time I bought a pencil. And where did he come up with pencils as an example of overpurchasing, anyway?
Example 5
When asked if he needs to uphold the Constitution, Mad King Donald -- who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution -- said: "I don't know."
Yeah, it was a tricky question.
Seriously, that guy has signs of dementia.

WAY past "signs" of dementia. Full-blown, publicly visible, actions proving it.
He couldn't hit a hole-in-one while sitting on the toilet--and THAT is a "straight shot".

He is, and has been for a long time, mentally ill. As near as we can tell. I know of no formal diagnosis. However, "toxic narcissism" has been thrown about by psychologists. I also think he's a sociopath. Those are both mental illnesses.
He also is suffering dementia (as I've said, this one I'm sure about because I saw it up-close with 1poormom), since it is a physical deterioration of the brain, that probably wouldn't be categorized as "mental illness". It's a physical ailment that affects the brain.
I don't think his answer to the Constitution question constitutes dementia. He doesn't believe in the Constitution (obviously), never has, and was lying when he took his oath affirming that he would support it. Not dementia. However, confusing his rape victim with his ex-wife...that's a sign of dementia (along with incoherent rambling, and such as that).
He really should be removed per the 25th Amendment, but that will never happen. Or not at least until after the 2026 elections (and probably not then, either). Too many boot-lickers and sycophants.

Did the interviewer think to ask him if he recalled taking an oath to uphold the Constitution when he took his oath of office?

This would be hilarious, high comedy, if it weren't reality. OMG, you Trumpers, how can you be so BLIND! This man is an idiot and taking our country down a terrible path to ruin.
WAKE UP!!
The cherry on top of this shit sundae? He refuses to say he will support the Constitution. What happened to the Republican Party!
