The Financial Times has been publishing a daily graph of global total deaths related to COVID. Scroll down to the 1st figure 'wave chart' in the attached link & see that we still have greater than 1000 deaths per day attributed to COVID.
They also have detailed 'excess deaths' assoc with COVID for many countries.
This thing just keeps mutating and refuses to go away & many of us with up-to-date vaccinations get it anyhow. At least the current strain seems much more like the common flu & somehow replacing it.

The jabs probably caused more harm than good in healthy people below, say, 60, but I think the stats he shows need more context. I noticed that in the countries with lower vaccine rates, the peaks in death rate during the pandemic were much higher, above 100% sometimes. So naturally, the current death rates can be below the 5-year average, that is, if the 5-year average includes those extreme peaks.
