Perhaps. I could say you are taking Trump a much too literally <and leaving out context>. I submit he will not abandon NATO but continue to hound them to increase their defense spending and cut their energy dependencies on Russia. All Trumps bluster is intended to keep the pressure on and to remind them the USA is no longer anyones piggy bank.
