Posted this on TMF retirement as well. But for those not over there, I just learned about these today. But I'm thinking I'm too old to benefit because of the front-loads. Seems like it is an annuity. Not sure how it is different from one.

Anyone have one? Or know more about them? Called a "rich person's roth", though it isn't a ROTH in the legal sense.
