Your lack of knowledge as evidenced by that question is precisely why it's so dangerous/damaging to allow experts to be replaced by loyal ideologues.

So many industries depend on NOAA and NWS that crippling or privatizing it would be unthinkable.... if you were aware of the myriad way we depend on the unbiased 24/7 service it provides. - sano

Nobody said industries don't depend on NOAA and NWS.

My question asked for support for the assertion that getting rid of the National Weather Service would line Trumps pockets. I simply asked how Trump would get paid, I did not ask how important NOAA and NWS are.

Goofy's answer at least proposed the mechanics of how enrichment would occur by claiming that a Trump donor would increase his donations upon the demise of the NWS.
