He's going to expect a Republican majority and presidency to finally get the job done right in 2025, instead of some "liberal compromise".
And if it happens (not likely) it's not going to be anything we like.

I agree, it is not likely to happen now. And that is a shame. The proposed bill really did have so much that the Republicans wanted. And most voters just won't take that lost opportunity into account.
