Remember when it was said here that no one is against deporting criminals? And how when shown evidence to the contrary the board’s lefties scoffed?

In todays’s episode of “Reality has a right wing bias” I give you the Sanctuary City of NYC:

So this guy robbed one of Alvin Bragg’s own prosecutors and they won’t hand him over to ICE:
New York City officials won’t be handing over an illegal migrant accused of robbing a local prosecutor and performing a lewd act over to federal immigration authorities.

The Rikers Custody Management Unit said it will not be honoring a detainer request for Brandon Jesus Simoza Seijas, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. Simoza, a Venezuelan national who has been repeatedly arrested by police this year, has remained in New York Department of Corrections custody at Rikers Island since he allegedly attacked an assistant prosecutor for District Attorney Alvin Bragg several days ago.

They’ve arrested this guy 5 times only to release him each time.

Refusing to honor a detainer request does not equal being against deporting criminals.

If ICE wants to pick him up, they know where he is. They can get him when he's released. NYC isn't going to bear the cost of holding him longer if ICE can't be bothered to pick him up themselves. It's not their job.

Instead of deporting....

Trump should gather illegals who are criminals - and drop them off in sanctuary cities.

If they can prove gang credentials, they get some cash from me - and anyone else who wishes to chip in.

And someone would pass out Spanish language full color pictorials of hot yoga moms, and how they can be found outside Whole Foods and yoga parking lots - at night - unarmed.

Since I"m wrong, nothing bad will happen and it'll only help those economies and local cultures flourish.
