Exactly! Typical Wall Street! My Dad used to buy things like CAT and DE on these downgrades and big price drop. I seem to recall someone looked at forward returns years ago after downgrades and returns were better than after upgrades!
Capitulation has to be soon right?! Off >55% over last 10 months. Different situation, but I recall BP being so hated in 2010 after the spill. Got cut in half in a couple months. Bought a bit early near the bottom but was ultimately rewarded.
On paper, I'm down a good bit in my current position. Sought a limit order to buy some Jan. 26 DITM Calls but went unfilled.

Interestingly, todays action might qualify as a 'news failure' event - where the stock ends up reversing and closing up despite negative news.
Perhaps my 100 back up the truck price target is too aspirational. But still thinking that tax loss selling is going to keep pressure on share price for a while...
